Parts that come into contact with milk should be replaced regularly for optimal performance. If you notice a loss of suction – check your pump parts— especially the valves. Look for signs of wear, fraying, or stretching, and replace them if needed. Please note that if you are exclusively pumping, you may need to replace them more often.

No. The Extra Pumping Set includes 2 replacement parts of each: milk collection cups (6 oz), milk storage bottles (5 oz), bottle storage caps, valves, silicone diaphragms, and 24 mm flanges.
Only the DiscreetDuo valve and milk storage bottles are compatible with the DiscreetDuo Flow. The diaphragm, flange, and milk collection cups are newly designed and are not compatible.
Only the Thrive flange inserts (15 mm, 17 mm, 19 mm, and 21 mm inserts for both the wearable and power pump) are compatible with the DiscreetDuo Flow.
Yes, you can wash the extra pump parts in the dishwasher or by hand using a dedicated wash basin. Rinse the extra parts first with cold water immediately after each use. Do not place the parts directly in the sink, because germs in sinks or drains could contaminate the parts.
To wash by hand, place the parts in a clean wash basin used only for washing infant feeding equipment. Wash with warm, soapy water. A nipple brush may be used to scrub the hard plastic parts but not on the silicone parts.
Place the parts on a clean, unused dish towel or paper towel in an area protected from dirt and dust. Do not use a dish towel to rub or pat items dry. Allow them to dry completely before assembly and use. Partially dried parts may affect the operation of the pump.
Once all parts are dry, they can be stored in a clean plastic bin with a lid or in a clean plastic zipper bag. Clean the wash basin and bottle brush. Rinse well and allow them to air dry after each use. Wash them by hand or in a dishwasher at least every few days.
